I was taken back when I got a phone call from my mother letting me know that my uncle had passed away the other day. I was very close with my uncle growing up because that was my mom’s younger brother. He had passed away from heart failure at such a young age of 52. The wake and funeral were being held on the East Coast where most of my family still lives.
